Fred’s story
Fred was found in Airdrie after living outside for about 2 months. His rescuers tried to find any potential owners, but were unsuccessful. They also noticed he had an odd club foot. His foot was broken that healed weird because Fred didn’t recieve any medical attention. Fred was also neutered and had an ear tattoo, we tried very hard to see if there was a family missing him but nobody stepped forward. To this day, we are still trying to track Fred’s tattoo to see if we can find where he came from.
Fred is a very people friendly rabbit, but is also introverted and needs time to rest after he spends time with his people. After meeting him for the first time, he was already at my lap waiting for cuddles. Fred exibits territorial behaviour and sometimes aggressively digs at people. For this reason, we would like Fred to go to a home with only adults or older teens. Fred has proven to be quite the ladies-man and is particularly attracted to women over men. He has such a goofy and sassy personality, he is sure to brighten up any home. Fred’s club foot does look a bit silly and stick out, but he seems to not be bothered by it and just drags it along when he hops around! He also has great litter habits and is non-destructive towards furniture and baseboards. He is a very good bunny and is fine with car rides and vet visits. Fred is very excited for his forever family, apply to adopt him today!
